ABOUT BELLE AND THE BEATS FOUNDATION
Founded in 2020 in Amsterdam under the artistic direction of Isabel Zoeteweij, The foundation aims to create both large- and small-scale art projects while developing its own distinct musical and theatrical aesthetic. By doing so, it seeks to contribute to the advancement of the performing arts and all related activities in the broadest sense.
1.1 MISSION
Stichting Belle and The Beats strives to produce innovative, multidisciplinary art projects that integrate musical, theatrical, and visual disciplines. By exploring themes such as misogyny, patriarchy, power dynamics, and social exclusion, the foundation aims to foster an artistic dialogue that touches on universal human experiences. Its work is designed to push boundaries, challenge audiences, and inspire meaningful connections.

The foundation aspires to provide a platform for unique artistic collaborations that emphasize autonomy and interdisciplinarity.
